"We're proud to offer State Fair attendees an exceptional product experience right here in the heart of Texas," Shannon T. Carr, Director of the Chrysler Group's Southwest Business Center said. We are showcasing great displays and interactive experiences with our award-winning Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT vehicles."
Ram Truck Brand
Among the many Ram trucks on display indoors and in the Truck Zone will be the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, with 28 miles per gallon (mpg), named the "Truck of Texas" by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) and Motor Trend "Truck of the Year®." For those who need even bigger trucks, the Ram 2500 with the 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 will be on the show floor along with the Ram ProMaster and Ram ProMaster City -- Ram Commercial's entries for the cargo van segments. For 2015, the Ram Truck Heavy Duty lineup owns best-in-class attributes in the areas that are most important to truck customers: best-in-class towing at 30,000 pounds, best-in-class power at 865 lb.-ft. and best-in-class payload at 7,390 pounds.
The Ram display also will feature a mechanical bull ride; a photo op with "Big Red," Ram's Texas Longhorn steer; and the Ram 1500 3.0L V-6 EcoDiesel simulator—the first ever driving experience that involves a stationary truck moving to what participants see on a screen. To bring the simulator to life, the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel is surrounded by three large displays and the driver is immersed in the luxury and comfort of the Laramie Longhorn trim. The simulator truck has a working speedometer, tachometer and odometer to track the EcoDiesel performance and fuel efficiency.
Jeep® Brand
Showcasing the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade, the Jeep brand returns to the State Fair of Texas with a full lineup of new and award-winning vehicles. The all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade expands the brand into the growing small sport-utility vehicle (SUV) segment, while staying true to the adventurous lifestyle and 4x4 capabilities the Jeep brand is known for. In addition to the Jeep Renegade, other Jeep vehicles include the Jeep Grand Cherokee - "SUV of Texas," Jeep Cherokee "Compact SUV of Texas," and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited "Off-Road SUV of Texas" awarded by TAWA.
The Jeep display also will feature a custom window decal - a photographer will create silhouette photos of State Fair attendees and families, and then produce a personalized window decal.
Dodge Brand
Making its Texas debut, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is sure to be a huge hit at the State Fair auto show.
Like the recently introduced new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Challenger Hellcat features the all-new supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat engine, the most powerful V-8 engine Chrysler Group LLC has ever produced. With 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, and a National Hot Rod Association-certified quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds on stock tires (10.8 seconds on drag radials), the new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the fastest, most powerful muscle car ever. It has been redesigned and totally re-engineered to be the most true-to-form muscle coupe on the market with performance-enhancing technologies inside and out, including the new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual and an all-new interior inspired by the classic 1971 Challenger.
Dodge also will show off its flagship performance machine, the Dodge Viper, in addition to a thrilling interactive full-motion 2015 Dodge Charger simulator. Dodge's simulator is an actual 2015 Charger outfitted with a full-motion seat that moves the driver inside the car to match the action displayed on the monitor outside of the car. It is a real-life, behind-the-wheel experience without leaving the auto show floor. Show attendees can also check out the new 2015 Dodge Charger, the Dodge Dart, Durango, Journey, Grand Caravan.
Chrysler Brand

The Chrysler 200 leapfrogs expectations for a mid-size car with an elegant exterior design, a thoughtful, beautifully crafted interior and an exceptional driving experience complements of a segment-first nine-speed automatic transmission and an Alfa Romeo-based chassis. The 2015 Chrysler 200 has highway fuel economy of up to 36 mpg; an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick + with the most available safety and security features in the segment with 60; an available, best-in-class all-wheel drive system; easy-to-use, state-of-the-art technology with a starting U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of just $21,700.
