Chrysler Group Announces Changes to Powertrain Organization
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In connection with Paolo Ferrero's new assignment as Head of Fiat Powertrain Brazil, Chrysler Group today announced the following leadership appointments to the Chrysler Group Management Team. The appointments are effective July 1, 2011.
Robert (Bob) E. Lee has been named Vice President and Head of Engine Powertrain and Electrified Propulsion Systems Engineering, and member of the Product Committee.
Mircea Gradu has been named Vice President and Head of Transmission Powertrain and Driveline Engineering, and member of the Product Committee.
"I would like to thank Paolo for his vision and dedication to the ongoing process of integrating the strengths of the Chrysler Group and Fiat powertrain organizations," said Sergio Marchionne, Chrysler Group Chief Executive Officer.
Both Lee and Gradu directly report to Marchionne.
