Chronicles of the Cursed: The Sinkhole

CHICAGO, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- You've read about it. You've heard about it. Will you survive it? From the production team that brought you the #1 Haunted House in Illinois, Nightmares Inc. has done it again--creating the most frightening, bone-chilling haunted house experience yet to hit the Chicagoland area. Tours of Chronicles of the Cursed: The Sinkhole will be open to the public in downtown Chicago at 560 W. Grand Avenue starting October 8 at 7pm.

On the evening of September 5 a large, mysterious sinkhole was reported in the Chicago Tribune Freedom Center's parking lot. Almost immediately, strange noises and visions were reported. What was unearthed beneath the bedrock? What lurks beneath our Chicago streets?

Nightmares Inc. is renowned for producing Dream Reapers, named the #1 Haunted House in Illinois three years in a row. This Halloween, Producer Ken Spriggs will team up with Tribune Media Group Events to ensure tours of the mysterious sinkhole will be the most frightening yet.

Tours will be available for 14 days, including five specialty and discount nights. Specialty nights include:

October 16: WGN Night. Rock out with WGN TV's Rock and Roll Breakthrough Band, Workout Music! Meet Ana Belaval and Dean Richards from WGN Morning News, and spin the 'Wheel of Terror' for a chance to win prizes.

October 17: Service Industry/ SIN Night! Stop by with an ID, work shirt with a logo, just about anything that proves you're in the service industry, and enjoy free Eristoff Vodka drinks from 7pm to 11pm!

October 22: Noche de Luchadores de Terror.  See your favorite luchador, get autographs and much more with the authentic Mexican Luche Libre.

October 23:  MASH Night. Bring a copy of The MASH Chronicles ad and receive $10 off general admission on October 23rd.

October 28: Blackhawks Night. Meet a Blackhawks player, hang out with the Ice Girls and show your spirit for the home team!

Chronicles of the Cursed is open for sinkhole tours from 7 - 11pm on the following days in October: 8, 9, 15-17, 21-24, and 27-31. General admission is $20 and front of the line admission is $35. Purchase tickets online before Oct. 15 and receive $5 off admission.
