Chronic Fans Rejoice! Suite Petite Available for First Time Ever!

PASO ROBLES, Calif., June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Chronic Cellars, the Paso Robles wine brand founded in 2006 by brothers Josh and Jake Beckett, announced that its signature Petite Sirah, Suite Petite, is now available outside the Chronic Cellars Tasting Room for the first time ever.

"Suite Petite has always been one of our favorites," said winemaker Josh Beckett. "Petite Sirah makes a killer big red and it grows well in and around Paso Robles, but we never had enough wine to offer it nationally. I'm super stoked that we've been able to make more without compromising quality."

The 2013 Suite Petite comes from three different Paso Robles sub-appellations, including Highlands District, Estrella District and Creston District. Josh says each vineyard contributes its own specific Petite Sirah character, whether blueberry, black fruit flavor, deep color or earthy aromas.

As with all Chronic Cellars wines, the Suite Petite label was designed by local Paso Robles artist Joe Kalionzes. With the new vintage, the Becketts asked Joe to give the existing Suite Petite label a facelift. "When we introduced Suite Petite," says Jake Beckett, "we loved the image of a woman with stiletto heels lounging in a hotel suite. But we wanted to bring back the skeleton imagery and bright pink color from our original Petite Sirah. As usual, Joe did a kickin' job -- I think it turned out sweet!"                      

Suggested retail price for Suite Petite is $15, same as Chronic Cellars Purple Paradise Red Blend and Spritz & Giggles Grand Cuvee Sparkling.
