PARK CITY, Utah, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Montage Hotels & Resorts has named Christopher S. Hamaway as Director of Sales & Marketing for Montage Deer Valley, the new mountain resort and private residences set to open December 2010 in a coveted on-mountain Empire Pass location with ski-in, ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort.

Hamaway, who joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in 2000 and was named top sales professional in 2004, was most recently Senior Corporate Director of Global Sales, leading the team generating U.S. revenue for 75 properties worldwide. During his 10-year tenure, he oversaw the pre-opening sales and marketing efforts for numerous properties, and, as a founding member of the company's noted Leadership Center, he conducted training throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Previously, he directed the opening sales and marketing efforts for the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas (Kerzner International) and was the General Manager for Certified Vacations Group, directing product development and marketing support for one of the world's largest travel companies.
