Christopher Lawless, With Significant Dealmaking Experience, Named Managing Director of Hunter Wise Financial Group's Oregon Office

IRVINE, Calif. and FOREST GROVE, Ore., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunter Wise Financial Group, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Lawless as Managing Director of its new Oregon office.  Mr. Lawless has more than 20 years experience in venture capital, business operations, business creation/development, marketing and product design and focuses on a broad range of small-to-mid-cap clients throughout the U.S. and overseas.

Mr. Lawless served as Director of Strategic Investments for Intel Capital's global venture capital division, one of the world's most active venture organizations.  He was responsible for the global enterprise and internet security technology investment sector, a highly active and lucrative sector delivering considerable portfolio company exits.  He also facilitated peer-to-peer, entertainment, manageability, streaming media and other targeted investment sectors, with a regional focus including North and South America, China and Israel.

Mr. Lawless graduated from the University of Maryland where he received a B.S. degree in Business.  He has held increasingly responsible senior operational and executive positions throughout his career and is the co-inventor of five technology patents.  Chris also serves on company advisory boards to help drive innovation and growth.
