A student at the University of Applied Science in Recklinghausen, Germany, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in international business law and business management.

Alsweh previously worked as a social-insurance case manager at an insurance company in Bochum, Germany.

She currently resides in Royal Oak, Michigan.
