The Healthcare Equality Index focuses on key policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) patients and their families. These policies include patient and employment non-discrimination, visitation and cultural competency training for staff.
Christiana Care joins 87 other survey respondents, which represent 375 facilities rated in the report. By doing so, Christiana Care has demonstrated its commitment to furthering health care equality for LGBT patients and their families.
