Christian Scali Among Los Angeles' 'Most Influential Minority Lawyers'
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Scali Rasmussen Founder and Managing Partner Christian Scali was recently named among Los Angeles Business Journal's list of "Most Influential Minority Lawyers."
Los Angeles Business Journal said it created the list to highlight "particularly stellar minority attorneys in the L.A. region who happen to be from a broad cultural spectrum." The list includes only those considered particularly impactful on the legal scene, "while serving as trusted advisors in the LA region, along with maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles business and legal community at large."
Scali's diverse automotive industry practice includes advertising, consumer finance, consumer product safety, data security and privacy, employment advice and counsel and litigation, employee mobility, franchise, trade secret protection, entertainment litigation and intellectual property litigation.
The Los Angeles Business Journal describes Scali as a realist and pioneer in forging the path to change what is often perceived as unethical and non-compliant conduct in the car business. At the same time, the article said, Scali recently won a franchise dispute with a luxury automobile manufacturer for a $1 billion luxury auto dealer group.
The story also praised Scali's work as co-founder of a compliance and ethics company designed to mentor dealerships on internal policies, programs and processes so that ethical corporate culture, compliance and best practices are staples of the business.
"The first of its kind in the industry, the compliance and ethics program is adopted by a number of local dealerships setting the bar in California," said the media outlet.
Scali Rasmussen's attorneys are thought leaders in the automotive industry, often called upon to provide their opinions on new and trending issues on auto distribution and franchise, F&I, employment and advertising issues. The firm drafted the CNCDA's 2015 and 2017 Advertising Law Manuals, providing auto dealers with practical guidance on advertising practices. For more information, visit Scali Rasmussen.
