"Chris has an extensive knowledge of retail account management and a background in the playground surfacing industry," said Brad Pittam, general manager of LTR Products. "This experience, along with his superb business acumen, made him the ideal candidate for this position."
Mr. Hanson previously worked as the sales manager for Advanced Ground Care Products, where he played a critical role in launching the company as a startup. Hanson received his Master of Business Administration from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Northern Illinois University.
Introduced by LTR Products in December 2009, Pinnacle Rubber Mulch is an innovative alternative to traditional wood mulch for landscaping and playground safety surfacing. Whereas wood mulch requires yearly applications because of its rapid rate of decomposition, Pinnacle Rubber Mulch saves money by remaining bright and fresh for at least 12 years with minimal maintenance. Pinnacle Rubber Mulch is resistant to wind and water erosion, bug and rodent infestation, fading caused by sunlight, and decomposition. It will not compress like wood mulch, thereby providing a thick and luxurious base material for landscape beds. As safety surfacing, a 6-inch layer of Pinnacle Rubber Mulch will cushion a child's fall from as high as 16 feet.
