Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun and Choice Hotels employees will be dedicating their time and expertise to make modifications at the Cholla Special Needs Community Campus, which is part of Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services (STARS). Volunteers will install a shade structure and patio for STARS clients, paint the building's exterior to brighten the atmosphere of the center, and plant a garden for the new growing season. The renovations at the Cholla Special Needs Community Campus will impact the community center's ability to focus resources on its clients and enjoy improved exterior and interior conditions.
"Rebuilding Together and Choice continue our high-impact work through 'Room to Rebuild,' which has served hundreds of homeowners across the country," said Gary A. Officer, president and CEO of Rebuilding Together. "Our partnership reflects the commitment we have to help families in-need."
Throughout Spring 2012, Choice Hotels will continue to complete projects across the country. The projects will assist non-profits and low-income homeowners to provide extensive rehabilitations to their facilities and homes.
