COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Chiron, a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity training and services, has been awarded a contract to deliver beginner, intermediate, and specific work role cybersecurity training for the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority's (SAMA) Secure 18 program.
Much like the Secure 17 program of last year, Secure 18 immerses students in a two-phase, six-month intensive, hands-on training program designed to prepare them for cybersecurity careers. In the first phase of the program, students will learn the fundamentals of cybersecurity as well as basic skills. In the second phase, students transition into specific work role skills training in Governance, Discovery and Counter Infiltration, Threat Emulation, and others.
"This award builds upon last year's success delivering cybersecurity skills training for students in the SAMA Secure 17 program. Chiron is honored to be a part of the Secure 18 initiative and looks forward to continuing support to other workforce development initiatives in the region," stated David Pappas, Chiron President.
