Chiquita Fresh North America Recognizes C.R. England with Chiquita Green Transportation Excellence Award

SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based global transportation provider and the nation's largest temperature-controlled carrier, has received the Chiquita® Green Transportation Excellence Award.  In addition to this award, C.R. England was also recognized as a Chiquita Express® partner with Ten Years of Dedicated Service.

Each year, carriers are required to submit emissions data through a SmartWay tool.  Carriers are evaluated on the amount of greenhouse gas emissions they produce as well as what sustainability initiatives they have in place.
