The Phone Manufacturer Demonstrates Leadership in its Determination to Push Ahead With its Global Strategy
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad plans to debut its new brand strategy, logo and products at the upcoming 2016 CES in Las Vegas on January 7th. "Coolpad is committed to innovation and change," said Guo Deying, chairman of the group. "We will present our new logo to the world at CES. This is not only the innovation of a brand, but a sea change for our company. The Coolpad brand will become synonymous with security, technology and fashion."
Coolpad sees CES, now in its 49th year and has evolved into the world's largest exhibition event of the consumer electronics industry, as a key exhibition platform for the brand. At the press conference, Guo plans to review the operations of the company during 2015, present the new business strategies for 2016, and, most importantly, announce Coolpad's new brand logo and explain its connotation."
Coolpad, along with household brands Huawei, ZTE and Lenovo, has been aggressively pushing ahead with its global expansion, and now has a presence in many countries including North America, Western Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.
In those markets, Coolpad has, for many years, partnered with some of the world's leading mobile operators including Vodafone, Orange and SFR, while its LTE smartphone products provide customized services for more than 15 global operators. If the exploration in the early period can be called the 1.0 era, Coolpad now can be said to have entered the 2.0 era of the company's global expansion efforts.
The Coolpad Max is a product at this year's CES, marking Coolpad's decision and execution to move beyond the home market with its own brand. Coolpad Max features dual systems - an external open system that supports all the functionalities typically available on any mobile phone, and an internal security system that can encrypt the user's text messages and phone calls.
Coolpad owns more than 6,000 patented technologies, and is the inventor of the dual standby technology. The smartphone maker is now developing the dual-system safe mobile phone, to ensure information security for both institutional and individual users.
"Coolpad's own brand will continue its global expansion this year," said Luo Zhongsheng, vice president of Coolpad Group Limited. Coolpad's global commitment aims to provide consumers with new products and services.
