China's Hangzhou Tourism Commission Hosted Day-Long Arts & Culture Event at Hollywood & Highland
LOS ANGELES, March 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sunday, Feb. 19, China's Hangzhou Tourism Commission hosted a "Hangzhou in Hollywood" event, celebrating the beauty of Hangzhou with movie magic in Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles, CA. It took place from noon to 8:00 pm PT in the Hollywood & Highland Central Courtyard with entertainment and activities including:
- Dance performances by representatives of the Los Angeles Chinese Cultural Center
- Tea Sampling
- Star in Hollywood-Inspired Mini Movies set against the backdrop of Hangzhou
With Green Screen installation, participants could not only get a taste of acting in a movie, but also got to know more about Hangzhou key cultures. Participants were asked to act in mini-movie with Hangzhou scenery and elements added in the story setting. Then, almost instantly, users could download their unique video and share this experience with their friends through social media. By taking part in this, participants got the chance to win a 4-day trip to Hangzhou for two with flights and accommodation included.

To extend this celebration of Chinese arts and culture from Los Angeles to the whole United States, there will be a post campaign "Create your 6-word story" during March and April. Participants can watch recaps of the event and more videos that show Hangzhou key cultures online.
