"Tourism is one of China's strategic cornerstone industries as it has tremendous economic, social and educational benefits. China Yida is embracing the opportunity to convey a vital period of China's history through a variety of tourist experiences through this unique and important project. We expect Ming Dynasty World to be successful by virtue of its adherence to historical fact, excellent location, careful planning, experienced developers and local government support," said Mr. Min-hua Chen, China Yida's Chief Executive Officer.
In his speech, Mr. Qi-tao Chen, Secretary of Bengbu Municipal Party Committee, commented as follows. "We appreciate China Yida's long-term investment commitment in Bengbu and its expertise and experience in tourism planning and operation. As we worked together in planning over the past year, we were impressed by the professionalism, commitment and passion of the China Yida team. The Bengbu Municipal Government will give its full support to the construction of this project and wishes the project great success as an exceptional tourist site characterized by fine historical representation, Chinese culture, humanistic spirit, and visitor recreation."
Bengbu is a vibrant and modern city and is also well-known in Chinese history as the birthplace of the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Majesty Yuanzhang Zhu. Bengbu is currently one of the most important transportation hubs in China. It is an essential intermediary along the Beijing-Shanghai express railway and thus highly accessible to a population of over 200 million people within a two-hour travel circle. China Yida management highly values Bengbu's potential in terms of its location, its modern accessibility and its history that serves to inspire the development of the Ming Dynasty tourist project.
Ming Dynasty Entertainment World, including Royal Hot Spring World, Royal Tour Town, Filial Piety Temple and Royal Hunting Garden, will reproduce the royal life of the Ming Dynasty at its height of power and splendor. Management's vision is for visitors to experience the history of the period as well as the day-to-day activities of the ancient royal families. The Filial Piety Temple will commemorate His Majesty Yuanzhang Zhu, who embraced the Confucian ideal of respect for one's parents and ancestors throughout his life, and introduced several related laws and policies. This building, which will be modeled along the lines of the magnificent Temple of Heaven in Beijing, is expected to serve as an important educational base, enriching tourist experience and means to impart meaningful information about this vital era of Chinese history.
