China XD Plastics Subsidiary Elected to Lead Harbin New Materials Industry Association
HARBIN, China, Dec. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- China XD Plastics Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: CXDC, "China XD Plastics" or the "Company"), one of China's leading specialty chemical producers engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of polymer composite materials primarily for automotive applications, today announced that its subsidiary Heilongjiang XD Enterprise Group Co. ("Heilongjiang XD") was elected as the first presiding enterprise of Harbin New Materials Industry Association (the "Association"), at the Association's inaugural meeting held on December 3, 2014 in Harbin, China.
Harbin New Material Industry Association (the "Association") is an industry management organization established under the auspices of the Harbin city government. The Association was created to integrate the material, technology and enterprise resources of its members, in order to realize the mutual benefits of combining complementary advantages. The Association promotes continuous and rapid growth of the new material industry, with the goal of making it a core industry of Harbin. The Association is well-received and fully supported by the leading new materials companies in the city. Representatives from the Association's over 70 member organizations attended the inaugural meeting, including prominent private companies across the full value chain, large state-owned enterprises, research institutions and universities, as well as the deputy mayor of Harbin, Mr. Xianyou Zhang, who is also in charge of promoting the new material industry in the city. At the inaugural meeting, the Association elected its president, vice president, executive director, secretary and secretary-general. Heilongjiang XD was elected as the first presiding enterprise of the Association.
