China Sourcing Summit Attracts Nearly 400 Participants

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Services Group (ISG) (NASDAQ: III), a leading technology insights, market intelligence and advisory services company, announced today that nearly 400 clients, service providers and government officials attended an event it co-organized last week, the 7^th China Software & Sourcing Summit.

The event was held in Xi'an, China, one of the country's five "pioneer cities" focused on the sourcing industry. It kicked off with a visit to the Xi'an Software Park Expo, one of China's first and most successful software and sourcing parks.

The first day featured a keynote presentation by ISG Chairman & CEO Michael P. Connors entitled "The State of the Sourcing Industry." Participants also enjoyed presentations and panel discussions on topics such as cooperation with high-tech zones in China, pricing models for global sourcing transactions and how to sell to the West.
