China Power Equipment Announces Preliminary ISO Certification

XI'AN, China, Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Power Equipment, Inc. ("China Power Equipment" or "the Company,"OTCBB: CPQQ), a manufacturer of a new generation of energy saving amorphous metal transformer cores and transformers in China, today announced that after five months of preparation and repeated testing, the Company has passed the ISO 9001:2008 quality control system preliminary certification phase.
China Power Equipment expects to receive ISO 9001:2008 quality control system certification shortly. ISO 9001:2008 is the standard that provides a set of standardized requirements for a quality management system, regardless of what the user organization does, its size, or whether it is in the private or public sector. This new certification now extends to the entire Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and requires companies to bear responsibility for the quality controls of its outsourced business processes. It also requires a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of the Company's ERP and other electronic systems.
