China Nutrifruit to Hold Annual Meeting of Stockholders in Daqing

DAQING, China, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Nutrifruit Group Limited (NYSE Amex: CNGL) ("China Nutrifruit" or "the Company"), a leading producer of premium specialty fruit based products in China ("PRC"), today announced that the Company will hold its annual meeting of stockholders (the "Meeting") on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in Daqing, PRC.

The time and venue of China Nutrifruit's annual meeting of shareholders are as follows:

At the annual meeting of stockholders, the following proposals will be submitted for stockholder approval which is fully described in the Proxy Statement filed on December 14, 2010. The Company's proxy statement and annual report are also available for download on the Company's corporate website: http://www.chinanutrifruit.com/Annual-Meeting.html

1. To elect five persons to the Board of Directors of the Company, each to serve until the next annual meeting of stockholders of the Company or until such person shall resign, be removed or otherwise leave office;
2. To Approve the Company's 2010 Equity Incentive Plan;
3. To ratify the selection by the Audit Committee of HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011; and
4. To transact such other business as may properly come before the Meeting or any adjournment thereof.

China Nutrifruit's executives will provide an investor presentation to discuss the Company's growth strategy, business outlook and financial performance. Shareholders of record as of November 19, 2010 are entitled to vote at the Meeting.
