China International Import Expo, Gathering Fortune 500 Companies
SHANGHAI, March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China International Import Expo, as the first national specialized import expo is to be launched in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province on March 29th, 2012. It has been called the Fortune 500 companies' summit due to the many big companies who will take part.
As the professional national import expo, the China International Import Expo has an extensive participant list that includes of over 40 Councils for the Promotion of International Trade, Trades Guild and overseas enterprises. The expo has attracted a substantial number of Fortune 500 companies that include U.S.-based Rohm and Hass, Germany-based BASF, Siemens and Gebr. Brasseler GmbH & Co. KG, Switzerland's ABB Group, Japan's Mitsubishi and Toyota Tsusho and South Korea's Samsung have also become participants of the Expo. In addition, over 10 government delegations from Ontario, Canada; Belgium's Limbaugh, Baden - Wurttemberg Pliezhausen; Essex, England; Victoria, Australia; Japan's Ishikawa, Yamanashi and Aichi prefectures will participate.
State Statistical Bureau data shows that the total volume of national import products is 1743.5 billion, increased by 24.9%, in 2011. In the face of such a huge business opportunity, trade promotional counterparts abroad, overseas associations and enterprises attached most importance to the first national specialized import expo.
On Feb. 8th, 2012, Yugo Yoshida, Department Director of marketing department of Japan External Trade Organization in Shanghai and Undersecretary Akio Tan, in a group of four visited the Kunshan Convention & Exhibition Center. They visited the exhibition hall, dining area, parking lot and Terminal. Yugo Yoshida was very satisfied with the exhibition developments, he also made a further communication with the workers of affairs office about the organization of visitors, the arrangement of related activities and the shuttle buses from hotel to guesthouse.
The next morning, Sven E. Jarby, Director of Oerlikon global brand marketing, also made a special trip to the Kunshan Convention & Exhibition Center where the China International Import Expo was held. In addition, Sven E. Jarby expressed that at the first China International Import Expo, Oerlikon will firstly show the world's first textile machinery, the world's first film coat, the world's first drivetrain, the world's first vacuum technology, the world's first film-coated solar system and the world's leading nanotechnology. They also hoped that they can expand their market in China through the China International Import Expo.
