NEW YORK, May 12, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Hydroelectric Corporation (NYSE: CHC) ("China Hydroelectric" or "the Company"), an owner and operator of small hydroelectric power projects in the People's Republic of China ("PRC"), today announced it will attend the Piper Jaffray 8th Annual China Growth Conference to be held at Le Parker Meridien in New York, NY on Tuesday, May 17th. John D. Kuhns, Chairman and CEO of China Hydroelectric Corporation, will present at 3:30 pm.
