NEW YORK, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Hydroelectric Corporation (NYSE: CHC, CHC-WS) ("China Hydroelectric" or the "Company"), a consolidator, operator and developer of small hydropower projects in China ("PRC"), today announced that it has retained HC International, Inc. ("HC International") as its strategic investor relations advisor to assist the Company in broadening its presence in the financial markets while helping investors gain a better understanding of China Hydroelectric's core business and financial attributes. Matthew Hayden, Scott Powell, and the rest of the HC International team will be advising the Company on all facets of corporate and financial communications.
