China Golf Group, Inc. Establishes Hainan Subsidiary and Hainan Regional Office
SHANGHAI, Jan. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Headquartered in Shanghai, China Golf Group, Inc. ("China Golf", or the "Company", or "we"), a leading designer and developer of premium golf courses, golf communities and improved land properties in China and the first of its kind publicly registered and reporting in the United States, announced establishing its subsidiary named Hainan Zhonggao Sports & Leisure Co., Ltd. and regional office in Haikou, Hainan province, effective January 21, 2011.
China Golf's Hainan subsidiary and regional office is at the following address: Suite 1203, Guosen Plaza, Nansha Road, Haikou, Hainan Province, P.R.China.
The newly established subsidiary and regional office led by Mr. Junping Hu is engaged in building golf courses and golf academy through investment, cooperation, joint venture as well as merger & acquisition. Mr. Hu has work experience in government and state-owned enterprises for over 20 years.
Hainan, one of the largest tourist provinces in China, is the hotspot for golf tourism. As the only tropical province in China, Hainan will be built into an international tourism island, in which the golf industry is the important part. According to a famous Chinese golf website, so far, 27 golf courses have been built and 7 golf courses are under construction in Hainan.
Moreover, two policies for developing the golf industry in Hainan were released in 2009. On December 1, 2009, the State Council Opinion on Accelerating the Development of Tourism Industry was released to promote the diversification of tourism products and orderly develop golf courses and large-scaled theme parks.
State Council Opinion on Promoting Hainan Island as an International Tourism Island on December 31, 2009 stated that while developing golf tourism, the legitimate rights and interests of farmers should be protected and relevant land formalities should be done according to the law.
