ZHENGZHOU, China, May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Gerui Advanced Materials Group Limited (NASDAQ: CHOP) ("China Gerui," or the "Company"), a leading high precision, cold-rolled strip steel producer in China, today announced that it will file Form 12b-25 with the SEC to extend the filing of its Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2011. The delay in the filing has been caused by the final review of the accounting reclassification treatment as related to a potential joint venture that had previously been announced for the third quarter 2011. China Gerui anticipates that it will file the Form 20-F within the fifteen-day grace period provided by Rule 12b-25.
