China Education International, Inc. Announces the Appointment of Joseph Rubin, J.D., as Senior International Business and Management Consultant
DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- China Education International, Inc. (OTCBB: CEII) (the "Company"), which manages the operation of private schools and educational activities within China, today announced the appointment of Joseph Rubin, J.D., as senior international business and management consultant.
Mr. Rubin is an attorney with broad experience in international education and business. He has been Executive Director of International Technical Assistance Program for Transforming Economies (ITAP), School of International and Public Affairs, at Columbia University since 1996, providing executive training programs in business management, finance, marketing and entrepreneurship to government officials and private sector managers in former socialist states including China. He has been a member of the Riverside Group, the Manhattan West Consulting Group, and Executive Training International, LLC, which are consultants to U.S. and foreign entities on corporate organization, management, international tax planning, international mergers, acquisitions, and trade.
Mr. Rubin earned his B.A. (Cum Laude) at Columbia College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He was a Fulbright Hayes Fellow at the University of San Carlos, Guatemala, and was also a Special Scholar at Columbia University School of International Affairs, (specializing in international business and law) and received his MIA degree. He also has an M.Phil in Political Science from Columbia, majoring in both international law and organization.
Mr. Rubin specializes in international and domestic corporate practice, investment syndication, mergers and acquisition, and international transactions in the U.S.A., South America, Western Europe, USSR and China. He has also been a co-founder or member of the Board of Directors of more than 20 companies, in such fields as medical and wellness, bio-tech, fast food, e-mail technology, real estate and education, including assisting Sylvan Learning Systems to develop an international organization in over 150 countries to implement global test-giving operations. He has authored articles and conducted lectures on international law, on privatization, and he has been a visiting lecturer at The Wharton School, New York University, Rutgers, Fordham and other universities. In addition, Mr. Rubin has been a consultant to the Malaysian Government and the Hebei Provincial Government of China, advising on establishing entrepreneurship centers.
