China Education International, Inc. Announces its New "Summer in the City" Study Programs for 2013 in 5 Major American Cities
DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Aug. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- China Education International, Inc. (OTCBB: CEII) (the "Company"), which manages the operation of private schools and educational activities within China, today announced its new "Summer in the City" Study Program for 2013, in five major American cities.
The program enables Chinese students completing 11th Grade in China, to come to the United States and participate in four weeks of academic study plus 2 weeks of tourism, based in one of America's most exciting cities.
The program is unique because it focuses on English pronunciation as well as the basic educational curriculum, helping to prepare students wishing to attend one of America's top colleges.
Mr. Joel Mason, Chief Executive Officer, explained that, "More than just another summer school program, our "Summer in the City" program incorporates three key features. The first is traditional high quality educational content with emphasis on enrichment areas...art, music, communications...and courses for the aspiring entrepreneur. The second is a series of courses and techniques designed to improve English pronunciation and communication skills, preparing students to attend and succeed at American colleges. And the third is the opportunity to come to know an American city and its culture in a meaningful way, through planned contact with local students who participate in the program."
Pricing for each program will be published in October, including projected airfare, room and board, tuition, and additional options. Students at CEII and non-CEII schools with excellent qualifications will be eligible for the programs, subject to Visa and entrance requirements from the United States and the cooperating schools.
Initially, programs will feature five American cities: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Boston, and will be expanded in future years.
