China Education International, Inc. Announces a Wide Range of American Education Center Programs for the 2012-2013 Academic Year
DELRAY BEACH, Fla., July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- China Education International, Inc. (OTCBB: CEII) (the "Company"), which manages the operation of private schools and educational activities in China, today announced it will offer a wide range of American Education Center ("AEC") programs for students in its own schools, which will also be available for some other schools and education organizations in China, for the 2012-2013 academic year. The AEC Division of CEII specializes in developing and providing international educational programs.
Mr. Joel Mason, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated that "As we approach the start of the next academic year, we plan to offer both traditional and new American Education Center programs to both our own and other schools. We believe this offering will give us a clear advantage as we move forward, by positioning us as a unique educational provider."
One AEC offering is a "2+2" program where Chinese students spend 2 years at a Chinese university, followed by 2 years at an American University, earning an American Bachelor's degree. Another program enables Chinese students to attend high school in China while simultaneously taking American high school courses, providing the opportunity to earn high school diplomas in both China and America.
Mr. Mason explained that "There are many other international programs offered for this coming year. Some will enable Chinese students to spend a semester or a summer in the United States at a top school, while others will provide American college students who are education majors, with the opportunity to work at a Chinese school for a summer."
In addition, the Company is organizing international study programs involving European nations and schools, which it expects to announce in September 2012.
