Children's Musical Theater San Jose Announces 44th Season
SAN JOSE, Calif., July 1, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Nationally renowned performing arts organization Children's Musical Theater San Jose (CMT) announced today its 44th season of productions. Beginning November 2011, patrons may find themselves swinging from jungle vines, walking the streets of New York's East Village, or rafting down the Mississippi -- all from their seat in downtown San Jose's Montgomery Theater.
"I'm thrilled for one of the most exciting seasons in CMT history," says artistic director Kevin Hauge. "We have been granted rights to produce several very new works which speaks to the level of quality entertainment CMT continues to provide. At CMT, being a performer in one of our productions includes training in performance arts, but also includes learning about the history, culture, context and artistic significance of the show."
