ChildCare Education Institute is Approved by Missouri to Provide Online Training to Child Care Professionals
DULUTH, Ga., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI) is approved by Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services, Section for Child Care Regulation, to provide online child care training to the state's early childhood professionals. Missouri currently requires child care staff to earn a minimum of 12 professional development clock hours per calendar year. Now, six (6) of those hours may be earned by taking CCEI's online coursework. Additionally, ChildCare Education Institute's CDA Program may be used to fulfill the education requirements for the CDA National Credentialing Program required by the Council for Professional Recognition.
CCEI professional development courses cover topics pertinent to the child care industry. Course categories include Health and Safety, Nutrition and Food Service, Child Development, Classroom Management, Guidance and Discipline, and more. For those who have never tried online learning, CCEI offers a trial course at no charge. This is a one clock-hour course that awards 0.1 IACET CEU.
