Chicago Leading Matrimonial Attorney Jeffery Leving Appointed to Judicial Evaluation Committee

CHICAGO, Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- High-profile matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving was appointed to the Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC) of the Chicago Bar Association. Leving's responsibilities as a member will include evaluating candidates for various judicial appointments and sitting judges seeking retention within Cook County.

As a service to the public, the JEC works diligently to produce meaningful evaluations on the qualifications of judicial candidates for all elections. This appointment will provide Leving the opportunity to bring his fresh perspective to judicial evaluation in Cook County.

According to the Chicago Bar Association, "the CBA reports the findings of the JEC for all elections. The evaluations are designed to inform the public and the courts of the qualifications, independence and integrity of judicial candidates.
