"While business leaders hope that crises never arise, it is absolutely essential to formulate contingency plans that address worst-case scenarios," said Michael Duckett, CoreLink President and COO. "The development of a comprehensive crisis communication plan for any company goes hand-in-hand with reliable data center hosting and managed service solutions. While CoreLink, from its Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle data centers, ensures its clients receive relentless speed, service and network reliability, it's also crucial for companies to be prepared in times of crisis and conflict to minimize business risks and confusion."
"This is especially important for global companies required to communicate across multicultural and multi-language lines," Duckett said. "CoreLink is honored to host this important BRPA educational event at our facility."
As part of the BRPA course, Dr. Chandler will discuss key elements of organizational crisis communication, including crisis leadership, the importance of dedicated teams for crises and disasters, emergency notification communication, and crisis message comprehension and response. His broad expertise, which also includes risk communication, organizational integrity and multicultural and intercultural diversity, also promises to spur discussions on the importance of these topics with regard to crisis response.
The day's training counts for eight points toward BRPA's Continuing Education Activity Points (CEAPs) and six points toward Professional Development Units (PDUs).
