CoreLink selected APC by Schneider Electric's Symmetra® Megawatt UPS for use at its Chicago data center, as well as Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle data centers.

The highly efficient and scalable power system's modularity, a key offering of Schneider Electric's IT business, enables CoreLink to quickly increase clients' power capacity in 200kW increments up to 600kW. Such flexibility is in keeping with CoreLink's own transparent and scalable Chicago data center hosting offerings, which accommodate small-, medium- and large enterprise clients' changing business requirements and growth.

Additionally, the systems support CoreLink's ongoing green initiative by yielding efficiencies of more than 95 percent at an over 30% load, minimizing its UPS-related power consumption.
