Chicago Cultural Mile welcomes Donald Regan & Edward Wehmer
CHICAGO, Nov. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Cultural Mile Association announced the appointment of Douglas P. Regan and Edward Wehmer to its Board of Directors. "The Chicago Cultural Mile Association is thrilled to welcome two board members who will bring their passion, experience and expertise to our organization," according to according to J.R. Davis, Chairman and President of the Chicago Cultural Mile Association.
Douglas P. Regan is Head of J.P. Morgan Private Bank's Midwest Region. In this role he is responsible for a region that spans 11 states and represents the nation's second-largest wealth market. Based in Chicago, Mr. Regan is also a member of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Midwest Operating Committee. He is on the Board of Directors of the Old Town School of Music in Chicago; a Director of the Metropolitan Planning Council in Chicago; a Trustee of The Field Museum; a Member of The Economic Club of Chicago and a Director of the Jack Miller Center, an organization dedicated to teaching the Founding Principles of the United States.
Edward Wehmer, a founder of Wintrust, has served since May 1998 as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He is responsible for overseeing the execution of the Company's day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Prior to May 1998, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since its formation in 1996. Additionally, he serves as a director of Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and the Catholic Extension Society; on the audit committee of Northwestern Memorial Health Care; a trustee for Children's Memorial Hospital and Foundation; a member of the advisory board of the Farmer School of Business of Miami University, and on the Finance Board and the School Board of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
