Chicago Crime Commission welcomes Gayle Littleton to the board of directors
CHICAGO, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Crime Commission announced the appointment of Gayle Littleton to its Board of Directors. Gayle Littleton, a partner at Jenner & Block, regularly conducts corporate internal investigations and advises her clients on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and regulatory compliance matters. Ms. Littleton has tried eighteen federal cases, both in the Northern District of Illinois and the Northern District of Florida.
From 2003 to 2008, as a federal prosecutor in the Chicago office of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois, she prosecuted cases including fraud, cybercrime, corruption, tax evasion, regulatory violations, and violent crimes. Starting in 2008, as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Florida Ms. Littleton conducted high-level white-collar investigations and prosecutions. "Gayle is an accomplished litigator and leader in the Chicago community. Her insights, judgment and ideas will be valuable assets to the Chicago Crime Commission's Board of Directors," added Andrew Henning, Vice President of the Chicago Crime Commission.
In 2014, Ms. Littleton was promoted to Senior Litigation Counsel, in which capacity she advised the U.S. Attorney and reviewed all proposed indictments. She also created and personally counseled the Violent Crimes Working Group. Ms. Littleton has served as an adjunct professor at Loyola University (Illinois) and taught at the Department of Justice training center.
