Chevrolet Table of Brotherhood Tour Arrives in Memphis
ATLANTA, Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On August 28 – the 48th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech – the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial will be unveiled on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
The GM Foundation and Chevrolet are partnering with the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Foundation to help raise awareness around the unveiling with the "Table of Brotherhood" tour stop in Memphis.
The tour, moderated by CNN analyst Roland Martin, is designed to encourage an open discussion around relevant topics to Dr. King's message and legacy. The heart of the discussion will be the following topics:
The Future of Education • Realizing the Dream: Freedom, Racism and Progress
The Future of our Youth • Civil Rights Progress: A Look Back/A Look Forward
The public is welcome to attend and witness the discussion.
