JOURDANTON, Texas, Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cheryl G. Henry is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Insurance. Cheryl is the Owner of CGH Insurance.

In 2011, Cheryl purchased the agency where she now specializes in 50% commercial lines and 50% personal lines insurance. With a strong and reliable client base, Cheryl is able to smoothly own and operate her independent insurance agency.

In the industry for over thirty two years, Cheryl started CGH Insurance more than five years ago. She has held various positions with different insurance companies over the years, and started out as an Underwriting Assistant in 1989. Working in this capacity allows Cheryl to work with clients in the areas of commercial, farm and ranch; as well as wind storm insurance.

Claiming that the key to her success is perseverance, Cheryl has flourished as both a business owner and insurance professional. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Management, Marketing , and Related Support Services from Texas A&M University (Kingsville),  and an Associate's degree in Business from Palo Alto College.

To further her professional development, she maintains memberships with numerous prestigious organizations. Some of these include; the Independent Insurance Agents of San Antonio (IIASA), Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys spending time with family and involvement through Cowboy Fellowship Church. She also volunteers as a Soccer Coach with Tri-Cities Youth Soccer Association (TCYSA).

Initially beginning her collegiate career with an Associate's degree in Business from Palo Alto College, Cheryl went on to attain a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Texas A&M Kingsville. Additionally, she holds a General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License.
