Chef Clinton Yocom to Compete in Minnesota Pork Board Taste of Elegance Competition

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On Jan. 13, 2014, Minneapolis Marriott Southwest's very own Chef Clinton Yocom will compete against other top chefs in the Minnesota Taste of Elegance Barbecue Contest. Presented by The Minnesota Pork Board, this culinary competition showcases the versatility of pork and the creativity of the chefs involved.

Chef Yocom is no newbie to the competition. In early 2013 Chef Yocum was the People's Choice award winner in the Pork Board Taste of Elegance competition.  In 2011 Chef Yocom was awarded Second Place, Superior Chef against 15 top chefs and received $1,000 in prize money for his original recipe.

This award-winning chef has more than 19 years of culinary experience within the restaurant and hospitality industry. His innovative culinary achievements have earned him a wide range of prestigious honors for best dessert in 2005 and best appetizer in 2006, among others.

With a delectable menu featuring a wide variety of pork dishes, Chef Yocom's specialty is no secret. Options include stuffed pork loin, pork chops with sun dried cherry chutney and herb crusted pork tenderloin with coarse ground mustard.
