The event, themed "CHCI at 35: Keeping the Founders' Promise" is the largest and most prestigious in the Latino community, gathering more than 2,500 of the most powerful leaders in support of CHCI's leadership development programs and educational services for Latino youth and young professionals. Emmy Award-winning Univision News anchor and 2006 CHCI Chair's Award recipient Maria Elena Salinas will serve as celebrity host of the Gala, where CHCI will present its highest honors, the Medallion of Excellence Awards and its Chair's Award, as well as pay tribute to its 35 years of successfully developing the next generation of Latino leaders.
