Chateau Morrisette wines continue to be available in Eastern Tennessee and distributed by Knoxville Beverage.
"We are excited to expand our retail distribution in Tennessee, especially since we have the opportunity to offer our sweet wines just in time for summer vacations and casual gatherings with friends," said Nicole Taylor, Director of Sales for Chateau Morrisette.
"Distinctively Southern summer favorites include seminal options like our semi-sweet blend Our Dog Blue and our smooth, medium bodied The Black Dog, both perfect accompaniments for light hors d'oeuvres," said Brian Cheeseborough, Oenologist and Winemaker at Chateau Morrisette. "Sweet Mountain Apple and Red Mountain Laurel are ideal when chilled for a barbecue on a hot day." Recently, the winery's Our Dog Blue won a Gold Medal at the 2014 East Meets West Wine Competition, and its Sweet Mountain Apple won Silver at the 2014 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
"A visit to Chateau Morrisette Winery along the picturesque Blue Ridge Parkway is great long weekend getaway, especially with our convenient travel packages," added Cheeseborough. "Visit us during one of our signature events, such as our Black Dog Music Festivals, a special occasion or to take in the breathtaking views during fall foliage season."
Visitors can savor an exquisite meal at The Restaurant at Chateau Morrisette or enjoy a casual picnic on the winery's grounds.
