Chat Mobility selects iSelectMD to deploy mHealth initiative
HILTON HEAD, S.C., Dec. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Chat Mobility and iSelectMD announced that, effective December 1st 2014 and January 1st 2015, all Chat Mobility employees and subscribers, respectively, will have real time access to a national network of board certified physicians through iSelectMD. The iSelectMD program, launched earlier this year with Competitive Carriers Association (CCA), will provide consumers with reduced costs and immediate, real time access to healthcare professionals without a visit to an urgent care facility or emergency room department.
Chat Mobility is one of the first, early adopters of mobile health (mHealth) with iSelectMD and CCA. Using their wireless device, with iSelectMD Mobile, Chat Mobility customers and employees can speak with a board-certified physician via voice or video services, to resolve everyday illnesses or ask health questions. The added benefits also reduce time lost from work for Chat Mobility employees and customers, and enables customers to access care anywhere and at any time whether they are in their community or traveling.
