Charming Charlie Launches Back-to-Basics Strategy
Company to Close Underperforming Stores; Corporate Operations Adjusted to Meet the New Scale of the Business; Will Focus on Simplifying Operations and on Core Strengths
HOUSTON, Dec. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Charming Charlie (the "Company") today announced that it has commenced a number of measures to stabilize its business in support of a new Back-to-Basics strategy. The Company currently plans to close a number of underperforming stores in the United States. It will also close its Los Angeles office and reduce headcount in its Houston Corporate Support Center and Distribution Center. These changes will allow Charming Charlie to simplify its business operations, improve liquidity, and focus efforts on the core strengths that make the Company successful.

We also will be better equipped to read and react to trends and what our customers want, which had been the hallmark of our success.
