Charlotte Motor Speedway Unveils Finished IRONTURF Synthetic Turf
CONCORD, N.C., Jan. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- GreenFields USA is proud to announce that its construction partner, FIELDS, has completed an installation of its premium woven turf product, IRONTURFTM, at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The new turf covers close to 90,000 square feet on the frontstretch of the speedway's infield, at the exit of Oval Turn 4 as a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's ROVAL™ course. The turf slows down cars exiting the course in a more efficient way than grass, improving safety for drivers.
IRONTURF turf is constructed using patented woven technology and was specifically engineered to hold up to even the toughest impacts.
FIELDS, renowned builder specializing in high-quality athletic fields and parks, consulted with Charlotte Motor Speedway to find the right turf option for their needs before recommending IRONTURF.
