About CHARLES N. PAIDAS, MD, MBA
Dr. Paidas has over twenty-five years experience in the field of education. For the past three years he has been the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME) at The University of South Florida (USF) and in June 2012 will become the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and GME. He is a USF Professor and Division Chief for Pediatric Surgery, specializing in solid tumors, disorders of the chest wall and thoracic and abdominal surgery in children with congenital malformations. Dr. Paidas is affiliated with the A.C.S., S.U.S., A.P.S.A. and A.A.S.T. He received his M.D. and completed his General Surgery Residency at New York Medical College and Fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Surgical Oncology and The John Hopkins Hospital for Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Paidas was on the faculty at the John Hopkins School of Medicine until going to USF in 2007. In his spare time he enjoys golf and cooking.
