Charity Splits Helps Drive Successful Raffle for Dale Earnhardt Jr. Foundation
"Win Dale Jr.'s Ride" Promotion Raises $144,000 for the Dale Jr. Foundation
MOORESVILLE, N.C., Oct. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ask Dale Earnhardt, Jr. or any NASCAR driver and they will tell you how important the team behind them is on race day. When it comes to fundraising for their foundations, the team behind them is just as important and the team they turn to is The Charity Splits Company. Earlier this month, Charity Splits was on hand to help award the keys to a brand new 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS to grand prize winner Gale Fontaine and a check for $144,000 to the Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Foundation raised from the raffle.

"We are grateful to have had Charity Splits on our side during this raffle. Their experience, technology, and guidance were much appreciated throughout the promotion, and we were thrilled with the result," said Lauren Caldwell, Marketing Project Manager for the Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Foundation. "It was clear that the folks at Charity Splits truly care about the causes they are helping to promote. It was great to have them present as we gave away the Camaro; they were just as excited as our winner and proud to be a part of the donations we were able to make as a result of this raffle."
The money raised from the "Win Dale Jr.'s Ride" promotion will in large part be devoted to help combat child hunger. According to U.S. Department of Agriculture statistics, in 2010 more than 16 million American children lived in households with low food security and 22 percent of children lived in poverty.
"We have been very fortunate to work with some tremendous athletes and their organizations," said Charity Splits CEO Ryan West. "Our technology provides a turnkey solution for the raffles but as important to us is the impact we've been able to share in for so many. We are glad to have had the opportunity to help Dale and his team, raise money that will go to help children and families in need."
Charity Splits (www.charitysplits.com) provides a complete end-to-end solution for sports organizations for their online raffle needs, including page design and set-up, the ecommerce engine, database management and all requisite licensing and terms of use.
