Charity Polo Match Draws Celebrities And High Profile Business Leaders
Premier Event in the Recovery Industry, Polo in the Palisades
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Promises Foundation hosts the 9th Annual Polo in the Palisades fundraiser, benefiting Miriam's House, a transitional living home for low-income women and their children. The fundraiser will be held on September 27, 2014 at Will Rogers Historic State Park. This year we will be honoring the amazing work of five community heroes including: Richard Rogg the founder of Promises Treatment Center, Susie Spain the founder of Angels at Risk, Karl McMillen philanthropist and founder of the McMillen Foundation, the Westside Food Bank, and Sean McFarland renowned sex and addiction therapist. "Elements Behavioral Health and Promises Treatment centers are proud to support the extraordinary work by Miriam's House with young mothers and their families. Through family preservation and early, intensive intervention Miriam's House is preventing the disease of addiction from reaching the next generation," said David Sack, MD, CEO of Promises Treatment Centers.
