Charity Dynamics Continues Growth, Adds Depth to Leadership Ranks
AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Charity Dynamics today announced that nonprofit technology industry veteran Blake Groves has joined the company as vice president and will oversee strategic client work for the Austin, Texas-based provider of comprehensive online marketing, advocacy and fundraising solutions for nonprofits.
Groves joins Charity Dynamics from Convio, where he spent the last eight years helping nonprofit organizations understand how to best utilize online best practices and strategies to strengthen relationships with constituents and more effectively achieve their missions. In his most recent position as a strategic account executive, Groves worked with Convio clients to align their key objectives with appropriate technology solutions and services to help generate stronger results. In previous roles with the company, he led on-site consulting engagements for nonprofits as a field consultant, and also worked as a senior product manager for several years. Prior to Convio, Blake also held senior product management and consulting positions with Netscape, AOL and IBM.
"Blake has an accomplished track record in the technology industry and also working closely with nonprofits to empower them with innovative ideas so they can achieve new levels of success," said Donna Wilkins, president of Charity Dynamics. "His depth of experience will enable us to deliver value to more clients, and we're thrilled to have him join our strong and talented team."
Charity Dynamics was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in Central Texas during 2011. The company's growth has been bolstered by the recent launch of Boundless Voices™, a suite of online advocacy applications for Facebook®, email and smartphones that empower nonprofit organizations to exponentially extend their reach. Charity Dynamics' Boundless Fundraising™ solution has set a new standard for peer-to-peer event fundraising applications in the nonprofit sector. Nonprofits using Boundless Fundraising have raised more than $100 million directly through the solution since it launched three years ago.
Increased demand for Charity Dynamics' design and web-development services also has helped drive continued growth. The company's most recent design work includes the launch of new websites for National Parks Conservation Association and the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Revlon Run/Walk For Women.
Added Wilkins, "Charity Dynamics has started the year with strong momentum, and the months ahead promise to remain just as busy as nonprofits increasingly demand the newest technology solutions and design expertise to help their organizations stand out and accomplish more in 2012."
