Charitable Partners to Finalize Integration Into The Pursuant Group
Collegiate fundraising firm Charitable Partners will be integrated into parent company The Pursuant Group to better align the organization and expand the group's specialized services to nonprofit clients across all sectors.
DALLAS, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pursuant Group, a full-service fundraising and communications consulting firm, today announced its member company Charitable Partners will now operate as Pursuant managed services. Current Charitable Partners' clients will experience no significant operational change or interruption as the brand is retired, but will have wider access to Pursuant Group services and online technology. "Charitable Partners' services are a crucial component of the work we do," says Matt Frazier, CEO and founder of The Pursuant Group. "Their specialty in cultivating mid-range gifts through in-person visits to young alumni donors is a unique fundraising strategy that can significantly help identify and cultivate the next generation of major donors."
Established in 2002 and acquired by The Pursuant Group in 2008, Charitable Partners provides managed services to universities, fraternities and sororities, collegiate honorary societies and other educational organizations. The fundraising services firm specializes in acquiring and cultivating mid-level donors through outsourced major gift officers who supplement a client's in-house development team. This approach consistently results in measurable financial success by tapping into an often-overlooked pool of donors who fall in between annual fund donors and those who support institutions through major and planned gifts.
"Being a part of The Pursuant Group opened up a wealth of innovative products and services for our collegiate clients," says Tony Smercina, whose role will change from president of Charitable Partners to executive vice president of managed services for The Pursuant Group. "In turn, now that we're operating as Pursuant managed services, our core strengths and specialized services can better extend to all of Pursuant's nonprofit clients."
The Pursuant Group business units each contribute fundraising expertise to the gamut of nonprofits, including faith-based organizations, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, churches, human service organizations and other public benefit groups. Pursuant Group companies work together to offer cohesive and comprehensive strategies for effective fundraising.
"The way we operate allows us to offer a broad spectrum of fundraising approaches," says Frazier. "From feasibility studies, to iPhone apps and e-solicitations, to development officers who visit donors at home, our clients have access to every possible resource to ensure the success of their campaigns."
As Charitable Partners becomes Pursuant managed services, the organizational realignment will allow the group's services to be more easily packaged with other Pursuant products and offerings.
"We have been working so closely with other Pursuant business units on campaigns that our clients already see us as one and the same," says Smercina. "Charitable Partners will now carry The Pursuant Group logo and letterhead, but otherwise our transition into an integrated department will be seamless."
