Chargeback Introduces New Features Ahead of MAG 2016
- Technology driven chargeback management provider introduces new features that address the growing losses merchants are experiencing from chargeback fraud -
SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, Sept., 23, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Chargeback introduced new chargeback alert management and workflow capabilities today, as it prepares for upcoming sponsorship of the 2016 Merchant Advisory Group (MAG) Annual Conference.
Chargeback is giving merchants more options to automate actions triggered by chargeback alerts (issuer notifications driven by descriptors to inform merchants a cardholder is initiating a chargeback). Along with expanding its gift card deactivation program, which is now in limited-beta, Chargeback is now able to automate fulfillment cancellation and shipping rerouting. Now, merchants can further customize automation beyond the standard of full and partial refunds.
The announcement comes ahead of MAG 2016 (September 27-29, 2016) in San Diego, California, where Chargeback is a Silver Sponsor. In addition, Chargeback is participating and presenting alongside Visa, Mastercard, and other industry leaders in the first Educational Session of MAG 2016, taking place on September 27th at 8:30AM.
Dave Wilkes, CEO of Chargeback, is among the panelists in the Fraud and Chargeback Management Educational Session. The session focuses on delivering actionable, real-world fraud prevention and chargeback process management solutions that participants can implement in their own business models.
"Chargebacks are moving onto the collective merchant radar, thanks to the EMV liability shift," said Wilkes, "Unfortunately, many merchants address fraud management with a narrow, prevention-only approach. While fraud prevention is absolutely essential, an end-to-end approach that includes recovering revenue lost to disputes and preventing fulfillment of goods, services and gift cards needs to become status quo."
Merchants can visit Chargeback at MAG 2016 to schedule a time to meet with Wilkes during MAG 2016 and learn more. Large e-tailers interested in chargeback alerts and participation in the beta program for automated gift card deactivation, please contact [email protected].
