Miriam Grunstein Brings Valuable Energy, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Experience
NEW YORK, June 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The international law firm Chadbourne & Parke LLP today announced that Miriam Grunstein has joined the Firm's Mexico City office as an international counsel in the project finance and energy group.
Ms. Grunstein focuses her practice on energy, oil and gas, and global infrastructure projects. In her many years working in the industry, she has advised both the government and regional and international companies in relation to a diverse range of energy projects, including the development of Mexico's first underground LNG/natural gas storage project.

Ms. Grunstein has worked at Thompson & Knight Abogados, S.C. in Mexico City as Energy Law Counsel. She also spent several years as legal and policy advisor to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Mexico, as well as serving as legal consultant to leading Mexican energy companies Terranova Energia and Enersa S.C.

Ms. Grunstein earned a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of New Mexico in 1986, a Ph.D. in Spanish and Portuguese Language and Literatures, summa cum laude, from New York University in 1993, and a law degree (J.D. equivalent), summa cum laude, from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico in 2003.
